Ready for the 3d unltr-sound!

Gabriel and I went to my third appointment yesterday afternoon. It went well, I am on track with the pregnancy...as much as one can be I think! I had all of my blood work done, let's pray everything turns out for the best! I am sure it will. It is strange how one already begins to worry about the baby before it even gets here!

My 3-d ultra-sound is scheduled for Feb 12th, and we find out the sex of the baby then! YAY! I am very excited to see the baby up close and more personal. We are getting a dvd and some photos that we will post up here.

Snow this weekend, so our trip to Raleigh has been postponed until next weekend hopefully!

I also signed up for a birthing class on June 5th!

Getting Ready for the Baby!

Gabriel and I have finally cleaned out the baby's room. It was a lot of hard work, and we still need to steam clean the carpets, but it is ready to be decorated. It is a matte blue color, which I like for a boy or a girl. I am not super big on pinks, so blue is perfect. We are choosing which theme we like best right now:

1. Where the Wild things are theme (I like this one best)
2. Jungle theme
3. Ocean theme

We have to make a trip to Ikea again to get some more ideas :)

We have our third doctor's appointment on Tuesday at 1:30. We either find out the anatomy of our baby then, or the next appointment, not 100% sure. We will let you know as soon as we find out!

We are having a baby

Gabriel and I found out we were going to be parents the first week of December. It is a great blessing for us and we pray for the health and happiness of our child every night. We let most of you guys know after I had my first doctors appointment to confirm the pregnancy.

Since then, I have been reading many books about having a baby, (thank you Jessie!!), and why it makes me tired and sick all day...that is thankfully passing now. However, the baby is making me a vegetarian again :)

Gabriel and I are living in Charlotte, and working hard to get ready for the baby. I am currently back in school, studying English and Political Science this semester. I love it, and it distracts me from feeling sick. Gabriel is planning on going to school this summer and still wants to become a pharmacist.

I will post a blog about us hearing the heartbeat and seeing our baby tomorrow. It was the most beautiful thing I have ever seen and heard.
